Sign Language uses manual communication, body language, and facial expressions to express a speaker’s thoughts. Although sign language is used primarily to communicate with individuals with hearing loss, it can also be a useful tool for communicating with individuals who are non-verbal or have other communication impairments. While it is impossible to learn it all in a short time, this session will teach basic everyday signs and provide resources for more learning.
