Heartsaver CPR & AED and First Aid

Presented by Lena Ayala-Martinez, CPR Instructor

 

  8:30am - 3:30pm  

                                         

This class is geared toward individuals who may be expected to respond to a breathing or cardiac emergency in a work, school, or community setting. This class includes protocols for adults (8 years of age and over) and children (1-7 years of age). AED is included.                                                               

This First Aid class teaches participants to effectively recognize and treat minor injuries and illnesses, and manage more serious emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries and environmental emergencies.         

Cost: $8.00 to have the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED card issued though American Heart Association. Certification will be good for 2 years.                                                                       

*This class does not meet the needs of anyone working in the healthcare field or attending health-care related programs of study.
