Although hand-over-hand instruction has been taught and modeled in schools for a long time, there are several drawbacks to using this type of instruction. For example, when this method is used, some children exhibit challenging behaviors (scratching, biting). This session will focus on the use of hand-under-hand instruction, which can help students:
