Behavior Basics: Part 1
Participants will learn:
- Definition of applied behavior analysis and differences from other areas of psychology
- Operationally define behavior
- Definition of behavior and to differentiate what would or would not be considered a behavior
- Behavioral contingency
- Understand and be able to differentiate between reinforcement and punishment

Functional Behavior Assessments: Part 2
Participants will learn to:
- Prioritize target behavior
- Conduct informal behavior assessments
- Identify and complete direct behavior assessments
- Determine the functions maintaining the target behavior

Behavior Intervention Plans: Part 3
Participants will learn to:
- Identify and develop interventions based on functions determined during assessment
- Provide behavioral skills training in order to train other staff members to implement intervention procedures
- Use visual analysis for progress monitoring
- Measure fidelity for implementation of the procedures
