SPEED Vision Services
are
designed and organized to meet the educational needs of students
who are visually impaired or blind. Our program's itinerant
vision teachers will support each student's Individualized
Educational Plan. SPEED’s Vision Teachers provide specialized,
vision-related services to visually impaired learners aged 3-21
years. These services may include:

Provision of
direct or consultative services

Instruction in
the efficient use of vision

Provision of
vision stimulation

Instruction in
the use of technology and adapted materials

Braille
instruction

Sharing of
current resources and information with the educational team,
including parents
